Vikas Singh, Technical Director at Bluefin Technology Partners with 25+ years of experience in the software industry and an integral part of Bluefin Technology Partners, believes in doing whatever it takes to deliver projects and ensure customer satisfaction simultaneously. He started his career working in the software support and installations across some custom software applications and gradually moved into management. He now manages technical teams and projects, provides scoping, sourcing and technical guidance for solutions architecture at Bluefin. His major role is to be involved with projects, right from pre-sales to project delivery, wearing multiple hats to ensure complete customer satisfaction. A typical day at work for Vikas starts with daily sync-ups and getting the workarounds for the tasks planned for the day. The challenge, typically, is the race between time and resource availability, keeping customer requirements on priority, sometimes having very minimal amount of information to start with scoping of a project, always having a budget in mind.
When asked about Bluefin, Vikas said that he strongly believes, Bluefin has a very bright future and is rapidly expanding and moving towards cutting edge technologies, be it Voice or IoT. The outstanding thing Bluefin has in comparison to many other competitive companies in the industry, is its success history. With all of the projects that we completed successfully, we ensured seamless delivery under constraints, providing the best possible outcomes with way more than what the customer invested for and with an efficiency that no other competitor can match. When asked about the preference on quality vs time, Vikas said, “It is not our place to make that call and it all depends on the need of the project. We are transparent with the customer and enable them to make this call based on the situation. We take pride in the work we do and try our best to deliver a quality product.”
